How to make big business pivots without the paralysing anxiety

Hey Reader,

Let’s be honest for a second.

You’ve got a big decision sitting on your desk. Maybe it’s firing that “anchor” client who pays the bills but drains your soul. Maybe it’s doubling your prices or pivoting your entire service model.

But you haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Why?

Because that voice in your head is screaming:

  • “What if everyone leaves?”
  • “What if I can’t pay the mortgage next month?”
  • “What if I fail publicly and have to go back to a 9-to-5?”

The cost of this hesitation isn’t just lost sleep. It’s stagnant revenue, burnout, and a business that owns you instead of the other way around. If you don’t address these fears, you’ll stay exactly where you are, frustrated and capped.

I want to give you the exact tool I use with my high-level coaching clients to break this paralysis. It’s called Fear-Setting.

Instead of ignoring the fear, we’re going to invite it to tea, sit it down, and take it apart piece by piece.

The Fear-Setting Framework:

  1. Define the Nightmare: Write down the absolute worst-case scenario. Be radical.
  2. The Repair Map: If the “nightmare” happened, exactly how would you fix it? (Spoiler: You’re smarter than you think; you’d find a way).
  3. The Cost of Inaction: What does your life look like in 3 years if you don’t make this change?

When you realise that even the “worst case” is recoverable, you become fearless. You start making decisions based on growth, not survival.

“Working with Robin helped me realise my ‘worst case’ was just a temporary setback, but my ‘best case’ was a total business transformation. I doubled my rates and didn’t lose a single client.”

Let’s get your pricing and strategy aligned so you can finally scale.

Hey Reader, Let’s be honest for a second. Most business owners I talk to are "winging it" when it comes to their numbers. They have a vague revenue goal in their head, but no actual roadmap for how to get there. They’re stuck in a cycle of over-delivering for under-market rates, constantly chasing the next lead because they don't actually know how many they need to stay afloat. Does this sound familiar? You’re working 60-hour weeks but your bank balance isn't reflecting the effort. You feel a...

Hey Reader, Ever feel like you’re running on a treadmill that’s set just a little bit too fast? You’re winning clients, sure. But your calendar is a jigsaw puzzle of hourly sessions, your margins are thinner than they should be, and the thought of taking on "one more client" feels more like a threat than a victory. Here’s the cold, hard truth: If your only way to make more money is to work more hours, you don’t have a scalable business. You have a high-pressure job with a very demanding boss...

Hey Reader, Let’s be honest for a second. You’ve spent the last three weeks obsessing over the hex codes for your logo. You’ve tweaked your website copy seventeen times. You’re waiting for that "perfect" moment to launch so you can finally feel like a real business owner. But here’s the cold, hard truth: A business without sales isn’t a business. It’s an expensive hobby. While you’re busy hiding behind your laptop, your bank account is stagnant. The frustration is bubbling up because you’re...
